Web Design Curriculum Course of Study
Overview
Web Design/XHTML Online, Part I has been designed to introduce students to the foundations of Web design, including planning, creating, and publishing a Web site. In addition to providing a brief history of the Internet and introducing basic vocabulary, the course teaches students how to hand-code Web pages, create basic cascading style sheets to control the presentation of a Web page or site, and identify the accessibility and usability issues that influence Web site design.
Whether students are planning to pursue additional studies in the field of Web design, decide to enroll in this online course to prepare for taking a certification exam, or simply are interested in personal development, we believe that they will find this course interesting and enriching.
